Between 3 and 5 October, ISC Networks took part as a sponsor and a speaker at the 16th Spanish Congress of Shopping Centres and Retail Parks.
The congress, which took place in Granada under the tagline “4.0 Shopping Centres” revolved around four cornerstones: spaces, people, e-commerce and big data.
Alberto Prieto, CEO of ISC Networks, gave the presentation ”Advanced wireless connectivity: the customer experience hub at 4.0 shopping centres”, where he explained how consumer habits have evolved at shopping centres due to mobile phones and what the forecasts are for the coming years, particularly with the introduction of 5G technology and the Internet of Things (IoT). During his talk, he highlighted the influence of connectivity on the customer experience within shopping centres and presented the ISC Networks model and solution to provide them with the best connection in the long term.
This year’s edition, with 65 stands over nearly 800 square metres of exhibition space, attracted more than a thousand registered attendees, surpassing the figures of previous years and providing a forum for the industry’s leading companies, which revealed the most innovative and head-turning projects on the Spanish market.
